Mahogany Ridge is a superb family villa – offering style and space in a breathtaking setting. The villa stands on a lush green hill and has 180° views of the sea – the Caribbean in one direction and the Atlantic in the other. It’s in a quiet part of the island and close to some of the best beaches and restaurants. There’s a private pool, as well as other great facilities to help you relax and unwind

Facilities

The accommodation sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children. There are 4 en suite bedrooms all with four- poster beds, mosquito nets and overhead fans. There is 1 kingsize master suite, 2 queen size bedrooms, and 1 twin. A cot and highchair is available. There’s a large, fully equipped kitchen and modern gas barbecue by the private swimming pool. It’s beautifully decorated and designed, with a spacious and cool living area, verandahs and lush gardens with fruit trees and flowers. Heather will be your housekeeper during your stay, and she comes in twice a week to clean, make beds and change towels. A cook can arranged if you require one.

This is a secluded, private villa that sits high up on a green hill so benefits from a wonderful breeze. You have amazing sea views, and the famous Grafton Bird Sanctuary is right next door, meaning Tobago’s incredible wildlife is on your doorstep. Even though you need a vehicle when staying here, everything is very close by, including some of the best spots on the island.

A mobile phone with TT$20 call time is included within the rental price. A welcome pack containing: milk, tea, coffee and sugar is provided free of charge. If you would like us to do your first shop, or buy in beers, wines and or spirits, we can arrange that for you.

Out And About

You are just a 5 minute drive from Turtle Beach, and the beaches at Black Rock, Stonehaven and Grafton. Mahogany Ridge Villa staff can arrange special rate car hire for you from reputable companies, or you can make use of a recommended local taxi driver who can ferry you around as you need. If you wish to buy local produce there is a supermarket and stalls just 5 minutes away by car. You can buy fresh fish for your BBQ when the boats come in from Mount Irvine. If you fancy eating out you are in the best spot Tobago has for restaurants. There are plenty to choose from nearby, serving anything from lobster and flying fish to real Italian fettucine with parmesan flown in from Italy.

Out And About

Castara is a small fishing village of 500 inhabitants. It isn't touristy - you will be living amongst the locals. Backed by the oldest protected rainforest in the Western Hemisphere, the village residents support themselves with a combination of fishing, tourism and environmental work. The beach is only a few minutes walk down a winding footpath. The sea in the bay offers excellent bathing and snorkelling. The village is a four minute walk down the road. Pick up home made bread on Wednesdays and Saturdays, reserve a table for the evening at Marguarite's excellent restaurant, or order a take away, or collect provisions from the stores. The shops are simple, the people are delightful, and the mangoes are plentiful.

Villa Seabreeze, Bacolet, Tobago

A luxury villa with ocean views, accommodating up to 10 guests in style and comfort. A pool, jacuzzi, nearby secluded beach, and over an acre of tropical gardens all make this a very desirable holiday accommodation.

Facilities

Seabreeze Villa sleeps 12 and is in one of the most sought after locations on the island with amazing views of the Atlantic. A wide verandah along two sides of the house provides a scenic 180° view of the ocean. Almost everything in the villa is new including furniture, beds and white goods. There's a well maintained pool and jacuzzi.

This villa has six air-conditioned bedrooms and six bathrooms, with accommodation for up to ten people. For flexibility and privacy the villa is built on two main levels, an upper and a pool level, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on each. Both have private entrances so if you book as a group or with friends, you can have your own bit of space if need be. On the upper floor is a fully equipped kitchen, living area with windowed sliding doors that open onto the verandah making one large and breezy living space which is fabulous in the tropical heat.

There's also a large patio for sunbathing by the pool and al fresco dining in the evening. The lower level has three bedrooms, a small kitchen and pretty living room with French windows opening out onto the pool area.

Special Features

Bacolet was the setting used for the film 'Swiss Family Robinson'. The privately owned villa sits in an acre of lush tropical gardens, with Caribbean plants and fruit trees. In season, help yourself to the mangoes and limes, banana, avocado and grapefruits. There's cable TV and wireless broadband internet. Secluded beaches are a short stroll away.

A maid will take care of the housekeeping and is available to prepare meals by arrangement. The property managers will pick you up from Crown Point Airport and bring you to your Tobago villa, ready to start your holiday.

Coasthanger is a beautiful hardwood Haiku lodge set in tropical gardens in the quiet fishing village of Castara and with the Caribbean Sea and beach just below.

Facilities

Coasthanger has one large bedroom with a 4 poster queen size bed, cool white linen, and romantic nets. Lie in bed with the French doors open, enjoying morning coffee while you gaze onto the Caribbean Sea and listen to parrots and bananquits in the mango trees. How much better does it get than that?

Nothing is ever far away in Tobago by car, so if you want to go to the Rainforest or the towns, no problem. Plantation Beach Villas , Stonehaven Bay

Beautiful pink gingerbread trim villas - 6 of them discreetly placed by the beach, with a pool and bar, in lush, managed gardens, and stunningly put together.

Facilities

Each pretty villa has 3 double bedrooms all with big ensuite bathrooms - the showers are big enough for a party. Small details are provided throughout - hairdryers, mosquito coils, fluffy towels. Each villa also has a dedicated attendant who comes in every day for 5 hours to clean, wash clothes and is available to cook or baby-sit. The birds here are amazing, and the beach, just yards away, is where the turtles come to lay their eggs. Roll out beds and cots available for children at no extra cost. The pool and beach can be seen from the villas balconies. Cook available at extra cost. Really beautiful villas with superb staffing. Some of the island's best restaurants are a walk away.

Special Features

When you arrive at your villa you will find ice cold beers and soft drinks in your fridge, as well as breakfast groceries to get you going. And if you're too tired from your flight to cook your evening meal, don't worry, it will all be taken care of. An excellent start to your holiday.

The staff at PBV are keen for you to be able to have that rare treat of spotting a turlte on the ebach during your stay, whilst at the same time being careful to protect these magnificent animals. Turtle watching season starts beginning of March each year. If you're lucky - it's a wonderful sight and a privilege to see.

Just yards from the beach - these are gobsmackingly beautiful pink British colonial style villas set in lush greenery, overlooking a pool and the beach, and with fabulous 40ft wrap around verandahs. There are 6 villas set in mature tropical gardens, all pretty much hidden from each other. Large and roomy, they have American style fully equipped kitchens with all the gadgets, and the villa staff can arrange to do your essential shopping for you before you arrive.

Simply Tobago loves these villas - the feature we loved most was the 40ft wrap around teak verandah. You just open the louvred doors from your living room and there is the Caribbean Sea. The verandah makes the living area huge, and is a wonderful spot to relax, enjoy a cocktail or have breakfast and just watch the wildlife around you. At night, you go to sleep to the sound of the waves on the shore. How good can it get?

Out And About

Some of the island's best restaurants are a walk away. There's a beach right infront of you. Go to sleep listening to the waves on the Caribbean shore. The rainforest is half an hour one way. The main town is 15 minutes the other way. This is a fabulous location. We've stayed here and absolutely loved it.
